The location is excellent, near Wat Pho, Grand Palace, and Chao Praya River. There's a nice restaurant across the property. The owner was kind to let us check in early without extra charge. Close to convenience store and train station.

I had a fantastic stay at Chaiwat Guesthouse. the beds were incredibly comfortable and the aircon kept the room nice and cool. the en suite bathroom was clean and the added bonus of a fridge in the room was convenient. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the subway, Wat Pho, and the ferry shuttle to Wat Arun. the owner was incredibly welcoming and provided us with helpful tips and advice. it was the perfect place to stay for my first visit to this vibrant city.

Delicious rustic Thai restaurant right across the property. Great value for money and accommodating owner who allowed us to check in early at no extra charge.

The bathroom was small and the cleanliness could be improved. the air conditioning took a little longer to cool the room, but it eventually worked fine.

The lack of an elevator can be a bit inconvenient, especially for guests with heavy luggage.
